About

Hollister, California

This Is Faultline.

A local gun shop built on more than 25 years of firearms and industry experience.

How We Got Here

It Started With Experience.

25+
Years of combined firearms and industry experience

Faultline Armory didn’t start with a business plan to reinvent the gun store.

It came from more than 25 years of combined experience around firearms, manufacturers, components, custom builds, and the people who make this industry what it is.

Over the years, we’ve learned what we like, what we trust, what’s worth the money, and what we’d rather leave on the shelf.

Eventually, the idea became pretty simple: put all of that experience into a local shop of our own.

So We Did.

Faultline Armory is a full-service firearms dealer and FFL based in Hollister, California, serving San Benito County and the surrounding area.

We sell quality factory firearms, handle FFL transfers, source premium components, and help customers with upgrades, custom projects, and gunsmithing resources.

We also work with manufacturers, dealers, distributors, builders, and specialists we’ve come to know throughout the industry.

Those relationships didn’t come from building a website.

They came from years in the industry.

Factory or Custom

We Like Factory Guns, Too.

Somewhere along the way, “custom” became synonymous with “better.”

We Don’t Necessarily Agree.

Sometimes a factory Glock is exactly the right gun. Sometimes a Henry should stay exactly the way Henry built it. And sometimes you start with a great platform and have absolutely no intention of leaving it alone.

We’re good with all three.

What matters to us is knowing the difference between an upgrade that’s worth making and a part that’s being added simply because somebody sells it.

That’s where experience matters.

We’re not here to build the most expensive firearm we can talk you into. We’re here to help you understand what you’re buying, what’s available, and where spending more actually gets you something.

01 / Factory

Leave It Stock.

If the factory configuration is exactly right for what you need, there may be nothing to fix.

02 / Upgraded

Change What Matters.

Spend money where the improvement is useful, noticeable, and actually worth making.

03 / Custom

Take It Further.

When the factory platform is only the starting point, we know where the project can go next.

Knowledge Matters

There’s Always More to Learn.

One thing 25+ years around firearms teaches you pretty quickly: nobody knows everything.

That’s part of why we wanted Faultline to be more than a place where a transaction happens.

If This Is Your First

Ask Every Question.

If you’re buying your first firearm, ask every question you have. You don’t need to know the terminology before you walk in.

If It Isn’t Your First

Pull Up a Chair.

If you’ve owned firearms for decades, pull up a chair. We’ll probably learn something from each other.

Different experience levels. Same goal: useful information, honest answers, and the right firearm for the person buying it.

More Than a Transaction.

We’re also developing virtual firearms training capabilities at Faultline, with educational opportunities and CCW courses planned as the shop grows.

Buy the right firearm. Understand what you own. Know how to use it.
